Almost March

Well, it is almost March.  To me, that means that Spring has almost come.  I am enjoying these last days of winter but am most excited to have warmer temperatures and lots of sunshine.  Having 3 sons means that Spring is a busy time for me.  2 of them are in baseball and 1 is not quite old enough.  I'll have to post pictures as we have our games!  That won't be until May though.  Enjoy this Wednesday!

Oh, the picture at the top is my son from last baseball season.  At the bottom of the page is another
one of my sons.  Happy Baseball Season!

My Valentine

Today is Valentine's Day.  A day for love and romance but I say.... a day of reflection.
My husband and I have been married for almost 15 years.  Today I gave him his favorite
candy and he bought me a new worship and praise cd.  We have learned what each other
likes after all of these years.  Tonight we are not going out for an expensive supper but I am
making spaghetti and salad.  I know my family will enjoy this supper and I love them very much.
I heard on a Christian talk program this week that we shouldn't say "I love you" to each other
but "I love us!"  I do, I love what Adam and I are and what we have.  I love my family and friends
and our church family too.  So, Happy Valentine's Day to all of you!  Like Holly said... "Eat lots
of chocolate!"  That is one thing  I plan on doing!!!

Patiently waiting for Spring

Well, it is another wonderful and snowy day in Pennsylvania.  Every time I see the sun peek, I close my eyes and pretend it is spring.  I always become so excited when the snow melts and the temperatures are in the 50's.  I like to throw on a sweatshirt and sit outside, breathing in the crisp, country air.  Then, I like to thank God for getting us through another LONG winter.  I guess living where I do, we get the privilage of experiencing all 4 seasons.  It is February and the Punxy Phil did NOT see his shadow.  So, I am hoping that this Spring will be early, just like he said.  Enjoy the snow but close your eyes and think of Spring!
